I was impressed by Room 10's wiki so I wrote a comment on their page to ask them about what they did. I have invited two boys to come and show me how to do a video of Room 3 and how to get it onto the wiki. They will be able to teach me and the new Room 3 class. These two boys were very excited about the prospect of teaching me and said they had some planning to do.

I used the easi speak microphone as part of a newsboard lesson. I couldn't get it to work at the time and this was due to my own fault of confusing one of the switches. I moved on in the lesson but we came back to it later in the day. The children were focussing on how punctuation changes the way we speak and how it sounds when speaking out loud. It allowed the children to have opportunities to listen and critique their own way of presenting. The children who read with out the microphone were monitoring more closely how they were saying the news as they had already listened to the others on the mic. It was very worth while and apart from my lack of knowledge at the start I would use this agian.
